Persephone is a new dance party series, showcasing diverse genres and styles, from underground house, through classic disco to groovy techno. Organisers focus on female musicians, LMBTQ folks and people of colour to give a platform to underrepresented communities. The invited guest DJ for 21 December is LUZ, resident DJ and founder of Room 4 Resistance, a Berlin-based women’s empowerment group for musicians and partygoers. LUZ is at home with techno and its various subgenres. She started DJing in 2012 by building narratives through music.
