The music of Tchaikovsky accompanies Pushkin's classic novel on stage, here performed as a dramatic ballet. The protagonist, Eugene Onegin pays the price for his wrong decisions while painfully realising that love can awaken the soul and give meaning to life. The tension is dramatically captured by his lost love, Tatiana, and her waves of passion and suffering, which ultimately block a path to his redemption as she tears a love letter at the end. The show will be performed by the artists of the Hungarian National Ballet and the conductor will be Paul Connelly.
