On 10 and 11 August 1996, a quarter of a million music fans gathered in the grounds of Knebworth for two record-breaking Oasis shows at the height of Britpop. The concert film Oasis Knebworth 1996 shows how the weekend panned out, the special relationship between band and fans, and interviews with group members and concert organisers. Director Jake Scott, son of Ridley of Blade Runner fame, captures the heady days of Cool Britannia with never-released recordings and old favourites Champagne Supernova and Wonderwall. The film screens in English with Hungarian subtitles.
