Explore exciting musical fusions where tradition meets modernity to create new expressions. On 5 April, join Deva and Danubia Orchestra as they bring folk songs to life in two unique styles. Folk music has seamlessly woven into popular culture – from The English Patient to rap, the modern folk music of today. The evening will be moderated by the spirit of Hungarian composer Béla Bartók, with his folk song adaptations for piano and vocals arranged by Máté Balogh.
