This year marks the 10th anniversary of Libegők Éjszakája (Chairlift Night), taking place on Saturday, 12 July. As in previous years, visitors can enjoy evening chairlift rides not only in the Buda Hills but also across Hungary’s scenic mountain ranges, including the Mátra, Bükk, and Zemplén.
Participating locations include the Zugliget Chairlift in Budapest, the Lillafüred Chairlift Park, the Sástó Oxygen Adrenalin Park, and the Zemplén Adventure Park in Sátoraljaújhely. For this special jubilee edition, the chairlifts will run late into the evening, offering magical rides at sunset and stunning views over the illuminated cities below.
Detailed programmes and ticket information will be available on the Chernel István Ski and Tourism Cluster website one to two weeks before the event.
