Nasip Kısmet is a Budapest-based Turkish band, playing psychedelic folk and ethnic-jazz. It was formed in 2019 as the brainchild of Arif Erdem Ocak, a Turkish-born musician who's been living in the Hungarian capital since 2010. The members are fellow high-caliber musicians - Cem Aksel (TR) on drums, Dániel Mester (HU) on saxophone and clarinet, and Márton Eged (HU) on bass guitar. After Cem Aksel moved back home to Istanbul, Dávid Szegő joined the band on drums, and the live line-up was completed by Derya Ocak’s (Arif’s sister) addition on backing vocals.
Hét Hat Club is an international travelling band based in Budapest. Digging into the sounds of the 80’s and 90’s Balkan Roma Gypsy Turkish Transylvanian Folk but also from Jazz, Hip Hop and Latin culture.
