Nasip Kısmet were founded by Turkish-born Arif Erdem Ocak in 2020 with the aim of interpreting ancient poetry with many instruments. Arif has been living in Budapest since 2010, presenting Turkish folk music in different styles. Their first EP by Napis Kısmet was released in 2021, with three songs, and he is currently working on a full-length album.
