On May 11, the Japanese Mono returns to Budapest. The Tokyo-based basic post-rock band has been defining the genre for almost 25 years. In their music, instrumental songs, traditional post-rock solutions, and contemporary classical music elements blend perfectly. They have 11 LPs with the 12th coming soon, so it is possible that they will play some new songs on the spring tour at Instant.

The backing band for the evening will also be an exciting one, the Dutch GGGOLDDD. They mix avant-garde metal, trip-hop, industrial and dark soundscapes. The band, led by singer Milena Eva and guitarist Thomas Sciarone, is constantly aiming higher and higher. Last year's album This Shame Should Not Be Mine was ranked among the best of 2022 by many music magazines.
