The movie Manifesto was compiled by director Julian Rosefeldt from his 13-piece video installation exhibition. The film conveys the artistic manifesto of Futurist, Dadaist and Suprematism groups, such as Dogme 95, featuring the exceptional Cate Blanchett in 13 different roles, as a mother, a homeless man, a factory worker and a newscaster. With each character, she contributes to this cinematic collage of segments in which the original, well-known texts of the artistic manifestos gain new, dramatic meaning.
