Kintsugi is the art of special gluing together of broken porcelain or other ceramic objects. The essence of this ancient Japanese method is that the broken bits are pieced together and replaced with a mixture of gold, silver or platinum. Rather than removing the fractures, the creator prefers to highlight them as an event in the life of the object. It includes the concept of change as an aspect of human life. One aesthetic approach to this philosophy is that the beauty of an object stems from the traces acquired during its use. Over 13 years, these 40 moments that became unbreakable as a special result of photography. For Gábor Havasi, these are independent stories that are independent of each other in space and time.
