In his fourth exhibition, painter Attila Kertész presents the earliest period of personal development in a series of ten paintings, displayed at downtown Hybridart Space from 22 September to 3 October. At the beginning of a person’s life, their personality is formed dynamically, individual and character traits unfolding before adulthood. To dig deeper inside the subject, Kertész was inspired by sculptural remains from Ancient Greece, the vigorous figures swelling with strength and powerful muscles. At the same time, the broken pieces and missing parts indicate that this process is full of obstacles and stress. All of Attila Kertész’s works are fashioned with passion and motivation, as the artist presents his own journey of self-discovery in an abstract form, sometimes with the help of figurative elements.
