Like any good story, fairy tales appear before us in our imagination. They also provide the inspiration for Samara-born Katerina Belkina to create her own interpretation in her paintings. On one hand, they visualise the story, on the other, they do not restrict viewers from sticking to their own ideas. Nominated for Russia's prestigious Kandinsky Prize, Belkina has exhibited in Paris and Moscow.
