On Friday 20 June, the red-brick brewery founded by Antal Dreher will fill with music, art, and fresh creative vibes once again, thanks to Kamalect. The once-abandoned, now heritage-protected space will host performances, installations, live music, and electronic beats – a real celebration of Budapest’s underground scene. The evening kicks off with an atmospheric live set from Mákó Rozi, followed by performances from Tatianna and LA Suzi. Expect drum and bass from Klausz Ádám, while the concrete hall will come alive with underground DJs, live acts, and the Budapest Afro Ska Orchestra. Prell will also take the stage with a lightning-charged live performance. The event is part of the S1 project – a collaboration between the Hungarian University of Fine Arts and MOME – which aims to explore and reimagine the history of the Dreher S1 Brewery. By blending contemporary art with the brewery’s industrial heritage, the project not only pays tribute to the past but also sparks ideas for the future.
