The beginning of summer means that Toldi Cinema hosts the Japanese Film Week. This year it will last from June 4 to 7, with a selection of comedies and dramas alike. The films all share a trait: their hero arrives to a turning point and they have to make a decision about their future.

  • June 6, 6:30pm - The Extreme Sukiyaki, directed by Maeda Shirou (2013, 111 min)

  • June 7, 6:30pm - Birds Without Names, directed by Shiraishi Kazuya (2017, 123 min)






The films are screened in Japanese with English and Hungarian subtitles.
