The Odyssey Band’s Odyssey album came out 35 years ago and is widely considered to be one of the best records of the trio’s guitarist James "Blood” Ulmer, and a classic of avantgarde jazz. The Odyssey Band released 5 albums until 2009. James “Blood” Ulmer’s music comprises the whole spectrum of African-American music; he’s a genius guitar player and has a compelling baritone voice, bringing into mind some of the best blues singers.
This is the first Hungarian appearance of the James "Blood” Ulmer Odyssey Trio with the original members of the band.
