The Hooverphonic trio are that rare bird, a famous act from Belgium. The 23-year-old group originally defined their genre as a trip hop, but they quickly expanded their sound to the point where it can no longer be described with a single genre, but rather encompass a multitude, alternative, electronica, electropop, rock, and a mixture of others. They play the Akvárium Klub on 12 October.
