Join this English tour at the Ludwig Museum and get to know one of Hungary's most emblematic houses from the socialist era, the Cube. The characteristic Hungarian “cube house” (a house with a hip roof, the so-called Kádár cube) was an expression of architectural modernization. This family home, typical to the 1960s and 70s alongside panel blocks, still defines the appearance of Hungarian rural settlements to this day. It's part of the Hungarian cultural heritage, which you are welcome to discover during this hour-long guided tour (starting at 5pm)!
