The Hungarian National Gallery's new temporary exhibition, Biedermeier Lifestyles, presents the prominent style of the early decades of the 19th century. Among the paintings by Hungarian and Austrian artists, you'll find a portrait of Franz Liszt and insights into the musical life of his time. The exhibition also features graphic works, furniture, attire, and everyday objects that bring the Biedermeier period to life.
