Herbert used to be a fighter, the “pride of Leipzig”, and he’s still a real-life Hercules. After he’s losing control over his muscles more often, he’s diagnosed with ALS. As his physique starts to deteriorate, his life is falling apart. German critics compared the film to Fassbinder’s male-melodramas from the ‘70s.
