Awe-inspiring visuals, gripping storylines, and epic music: modern video games are now considered masterpieces. They are often the results of the precise and attuned works of representatives of distant disciplines. Budafok Dohnányi Orchestra’s spectacular Game Music Show will feature music from the most popular and iconic video games, seasoned with dance and fascinating visuals. It is equally for gamers and audiences open to exciting symphonic music.
Video game music, or game music, is the most underrated genre in the field. Perhaps because many of us associate it with the somewhat dull, monotonous beeping of early video games, accompanied by a rather unnatural, often nerve-wracking, but wide range of sound effects. However, a lot has changed since then. And although game music has been a popular concert theme in Japan for decades, it is only now that it is making its way to Hungary.
So you can be among the first ones to experience this special show in Budapest, courtesy of Budafok Dohnányi Orchestra and Gábor Hollerung. You are in for a musical treat: the partially orchestrated, partially original music is accompanied by unique visuals, choir and dance.
You can see the GAMER SYMPHONY show on May 13th 2023, at the MVM Dome. Get tickets here.
