The first
exhibition
of
Art Quarter Budapest Project Space
will display more than a hundred of the newest ink works of the Japanese-born
Fukui Yusuke
, who has been living in Hungary for decades. Fukui has been working on his SUMI-E (ink painting) series since 1998; he thinks of it as his visual diary.
This collection has more than 1,500 pieces already and they are all connected like a chain. The papers used by the artist display different abstract painting approaches.
