Here comes one of the biggest hits of this spring:
Fritz Kalkbrenner
at
Akvárium
on April 16 and 17!
Fritz Kalkbrenner, the writer of the hugely successful track "Sky and Sand" recorded for the 2008 flick
Berlin Calling
, will finally return to Budapest (with two shows) in April, this time on his
Ways Over Water Tour
.
The April 17 show is already sold out.
Hailing from Berlin,
Fritz Kalkbrenner
began his career much earlier than 2008. After being infected by the energies of techno in the late ‘90s and a few years of partying and all-nighters, he started producing original material. Seasoned listeners will know his voice from the 2003 release Forms & Shapes or the Sasha Funk record Bravo. He’s also worked with Monika Kruse and Alexander Kowalski. He gained international recognition with the track Sky and Sand produced with his brother Paul Kalkbrenner for the movie Berlin Calling.
His work as a producer eventually came to fruition in 2010 when he released his first album
Here Today Gone Tomorrow
, stepping out of his brother’s shadow once and for all. Since then, he’s put out awesome releases every year, flooring the critics in 2014 with the record Ways Over Water.
The talented Berlin performer, whose musical career is envied by many, will put to the test the Martin Audio sound system of the biggest hall of
Akvárium Klub
for
two days straight
: on
April 16 and 17
!
His latest music that is about to be debuted will definitely be the biggest and most played hit of this spring.
