Frida Kahlo is one of the most iconic female artists of the 20th century. Thanks to the Museo Dolores Olmedo in Mexico City, and several other Mexican art collections, more than thirty paintings and graphics of the artist will be on display in Budapest from July 6th. Self-portraits, Kahlo’s first painting on canvas, drawings and photographs will outline her charismatic personality, a life full of physical and mental struggles, and the alternate, mythical world she created through her art.
