The new exhibition at Hagyományok Háza (Hungarian Heritage House) explores the timeless link between Hungarian folk art and fashion. From the early 20th century to today, it showcases how folk culture inspired designers, featuring nearly 150 items, from clothing to accessories. Highlights include Paul Poiret's Matyó-inspired dresses, Gottex’s iconic swimwear, and the uniforms worn at the London Olympics with Kalotaszeg motifs. Also on display is Márta Sebestyén’s dress from her performance for Queen Elizabeth II, plus Lea Gottlieb’s swimwear collection, shown for the first time in Europe – worn by models like Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer.
