László Paizs is an award-winning Hungarian painter, sculptor and graphic designer. A revelation came to him after being introduced to Dadaism and pop art at the 1964 Venice Biennale, inspiring him to focus on the creative opportunities of using different materials, textiles and objects. He began creating art which was completely different and unique for its time, and which first met with widespread rejection. Today, his plexiglass works are well-celebrated, emblematic pieces of art, and displayed for visitors at the Virág Judit Gallery between 5-31 October.
