A modern interpretation of a medieval morality play is being staged by Budapest's own English-language theatre troupe, Artificial Moon. Everybody makes its European premiere on 17 November at the Turbina Cultural Centre, a contemporary American adaptation by the award-winning Branden Jacobs-Jenkins. After the success of their first play, The Bald Soprano, Artificial Moon now present a contemporary black comedy. The main character journeys through life with questions such as to the value of friendship, family and wealth – and what his life amounts to… Although by no means a relaxing drama, it does provide the audience with an important responsibility, as they are the ones who will decide by lottery who's going to die.
