To the delight of Hungarian jazz fans, this American pianist, a child prodigy, is bringing his combo to Hungary. The night before a major show at Ronnie Scott’s, the Emmet Cohen Trio play the Budapest Jazz Club on 12 October. Now 31, this eminent keyboard player has recently released a series of recordings, Live from Emmet’s Place in New York, garnering millions of views online. During his concert in Hungary, he will play both his latest compositions and some songs from 2013 album, Infinity.
