The contemporary downtempo group, Emancipator return to the A38 Ship on October 31st. Douglas Appling will be accompanied by his musicians to perform songs from their latest, 2017 album, Baralku, inspired by the abandoned tropical island of the same name. Appling’s favourite musical techniques include working with field recordings, hip hop and classical music themes.
