Organised by the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center and Budapest Park, an exhibition of works by Dániel Szalai is being held at the Capa Center, curated by Emese Mucsi. In Novogen, Szalai focuses on a special breed of chicken developed to lay eggs that are used by the pharmaceutical industry. The show consists of 144 portraits of Novogen White Light chickens displayed on light boxes, complemented by a short video interview with the artist, and a related photo series that documents the birds’ surroundings. The images also follow the stages of vaccine production.

For the opening on 24 April, admission is free of charge from 6pm to midnight. From 25 April, the exhibition can be viewed with your ticket for Budapest Park.
