The Hot 8 Brass Band, a 30-year-old brass band from New Orleans, is making its way to Budapest as part of its Big Tuba Tour. They are hitting the stage at A38 on 16 April to bring hip-hop and funk tunes while also evoking their hometown's most beautiful jazz sounds. Their fifth album Big Tuba, released this year, combines the usual elements of jazz, hip-hop and funk, with deep, sentimental pieces and danceable, moving compositions for everyone. Previously they have played to sold-out audiences at venues such as London's Roundhouse and Brighton Dome, and this year's shows are set to be no different, with a special evening in Budapest.
