Gyerek Sziget (Children's Island) has now become an annual tradition, welcoming kids and parents with diverse events and attractions. This year’s takes place between June 2nd and 24th. On June 2nd and 3rd, a handful of concerts includes performances by Judit Halász and the Kaláka band.

All-time favourites return this year, too, including the ever-popular petting zoo, kid’s yoga and zumba classes, and a wide range of arts and crafts activities. Children can get to know the world of circus performance with Karamella Cirkuszvilág, have fun on giant bouncy castles, put themselves to the test with exciting interactive games at Csodák Palotája (Center of Scientific Wonders), build model vehicles and enjoy the Minimax Tent.

Kids can try themselves at different types of sports at the Generali Sports Park, with a Gladiator Run on the first two weekends, on a 700- to 1500-metre track specifically built for young adults, with 15 challenging obstacles. Fans of laser tag will enjoy Elevenpark, and adventurous kids can try out the exciting and challenging exercises of the Shaolin monks, and watch a spectacular Kung-fu Wu-Kung show.

A playhouse evoking the world of princesses and squires will also feature, where all the members of the family can dress up in medieval clothes and take pictures or take part in fun activities.

While the kids are playing, adults can go for a free health check-up every Saturday on the Generali medical bus.
