On 4 July, the Budapest SUP Festival returns for its eleventh edition, bringing one of the capital’s largest community watersports events back to the Danube. Participants will paddle from the Római-part to Kopaszi-gát, taking in some of Budapest’s most iconic landmarks from a unique perspective along the way. Before setting off, attendees can join a free group lesson and safety briefing, making the event accessible even for first-time paddlers. Organisers expect close to 400 participants to take part in this year’s edition.
