The annual SUP Festival returns to Budapest, allowing beginners and old hands to take to the Danube for this 15-km glide past the city's main sights. Setting off from the Római embankment, SUPpers paddle all the way down to Kopaszi-gát, stopping off halfway down for a group selfie with Parliament in the background. You can register online here or from 8am at the Duna Café Grill. Those looking to rent a SUP should arrive by 9am, those with their own, 10am. A safety briefing takes place at 10.10am and all participants must wear armbands and life jackets. A limited number is available for rent from the Kayak house near the setting-off point.
