This whimsical coming-of-age story by Wes Anderson is set on an island off the coast of New England, in the summer of 1965. Two 12 year olds fall in love, make a secret pact and flee to the wilderness together. While locals try to find them, a huge storm approaches, turning the town upside down and forcing the adults to form an unlikely search party to find the children as quickly as possible.
