Budapest GipsyFest is a vibrant celebration of the diversity of Gypsy music. Taking place from 3–5 April, the festival will feature performances by both traditional and modern Roma artists at two venues: Gödör and A38. Get ready to move your feet as the festival brings you Hungarian Oláh, Beás Gypsy music, mulatós (a lively Hungarian genre blending folk, pop, and Romani influences), and energetic pop tunes. The lineup includes Lakatos Mónika & Cigány Hangok, Kalyi Jag, Kis Grófo, Lejla & Merci B., and Serbia’s renowned Bojan Ristić Orkestra, along with MazsiMó-GipsyMó, known for fusing traditional and modern sounds.
