The Nederlands Kamerkoor visited the Liszt Academy in 2017 to perform Bach’s Christmas Oratorio in the company of Concerto Köln. The recording of this concert can be seen through the Academy website free of charge on 23 December from 7.30pm.

The distinguished choir date back 75 years and have long been considered one of the leading ensembles in the global concert circuit, commended for the quality of their solo singers. Over the past 30 years the German orchestra have appeared alongside these elite soloists and conductors, released over 70 studio, live and opera recordings and won dozens of top European prizes. Most recently, their recording of opera rarity Artaserse by Leonardo Vinci garnered huge acclaim, featuring the likes of Philippe Jaroussky, Franco Fagioli, Max Emanuel Cenčić and Valer Sabadus.
