One of the most sought-after singers of his generation, Alireza Ghorbani is performing at the Palace of Arts, better known as Müpa, on 22 December. Ghorbani's greatest international triumph, Lost in Love – Persian love songs, beguiles its listeners into the legendary Garden of Roses, evoking classical Persian poets such as Omar Khayyam, Rūmī and Hafez.

Ghorbani will be joined on stage by masters of classical Persian instruments, such as Saman Samimi (playing the kamancheh), Milad Mohammadi (on tar) and Zakariya Yousefi (percussion). Their concert promises to show how medieval songs of mystical love can still break hearts today.
