February 13.
17.00 - 18.30: Co-Working Budapest – Urban walk
The walk invites participants to discover some of the city’s most interesting co-working spaces whose initiators will present the advantages and difficulties of collective workspaces. Registration: 1000 HUF (800 HUF for students). Application soon! (Hungarian!)
February 14.
10.00 - 18.00: Flexible Spaces – Workshop
The workshop will explore the spatial challenges of a co-working space, and their possible responses related to Budapest-specific topology and demands. The workshop’s guests are Christian Hermansen, professor at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) and Barbara Elisabeth Ascher, PhD candidate at AHO. Application soon! (Hungarian!)
19.00 - 20.00: Scarcity and Creativity in the Built Environment – Lecture by Christian Hermansen and Barbara Elisabeth Ascher (Oslo School of Architecture and Design)
The international cooperation SCIBE explores the relationship between scarcity and creativity in the context of the built environment by investigating how conditions of scarcity might affect the creativity of the different actors involved in the production of architecture and urban design, and how design-led actions might improve the built environment in the future.

February 15.
14.00 - 18.00: Downloadable Design? – Furniture Workshow by Kulturgorilla
The DIYsigner workshop by the Kulturgorilla collective invites participants to explore the steps of building open source, easy-to-assemble furniture. Based on downloadable plans of a well-known design studio, participants will jointly construct a furniture piece, to be raffled at the end of the workshop. 18.30 - 20.00: Tool-kits for interim uses – Skype Meetup
Virtual and real life presentations in 5+5 minutes by makers who are providing open source knowledge, that helps local businesses to make their brand stronger ‒ especially during the period of interim use. (Hungarian!)
