The exhibition consists of pieces from
John Steck Jr.
’s two ongoing projects. The vanishing photographs of the
LAMENT
series draw attention to the ephemeral nature of photography and the memories it captures. By manipulating the image-making process of particular photographs from his archives, Steck allows them to remain sensitive to light and disappear over time. (Photo: The event’s Facebook page.)
