This literary event presents the life story of Ireland’s patron saint and showcases the culture that came before and after. The themed evening will be opened by the Irish Ambassador to Hungary, Ronan Gargan, before Prof Michael McAteer, Director of the Budapest Centre for Irish Studies, delivers a lecture on Irish Studies at PPCU University in Budapest. Foreign speakers include Grégory Hiverlet from Brittany, who presents the ancient Celtic culture of his region. Irish folk music also accompanies, giving visitors the chance to continue St Patrick's Day celebrations.
