The exhibition gives a unique perception of the late ’80s, ’90s and the beginning of the 2000s through artistic practices and the memories of the Y generation. The title reflects on a so-called flashbulb memory, an infamous case in recent Hungarian history. On 12 December 1993, the television broadcast of the episode A Whale of a Bad Time from the beloved cartoon DuckTales was interrupted when they announced the death of Hungarian Prime Minister József Antall.
