The end of the month is coming up soon, that means the next
BP Game Developer's Meetup
is almost here. We will be hosting at the usual location of
AnKERT
on Tuesday, the 29th of July.
This month they are doing things a little different. They are going to be hosting their first
Idea Jam
! This like a game jam,
but something that is a bit more fitting to the social setting and time frame available.
The Idea Jam is basically the
brain storming session of a usual game jam. They will be releasing different topics to play around with over the next few days. You can use as many or as few of the themes as you wish. There will be a special restriction announced on the last day, so keep that in mind.
This will be a fun
workshop/activity
to go along with their usual social drinking. Let the ideas flow and all of the groups will share with everyone later in the evening (around 930). Feel free to make drawings, diagrams or anything else to help explain your game idea to others. There will be a small/fun
prize
for the winner as well!
They will provide as much as they can for this event (e.g. paper and pens) but if you have preferred materials, please bring those with you!
