The
2nd Hungarian Film Week
will be organized at
Cinema City Mom Park
, between March 1 to 6, 2016, screening 270 films from six different categories. As a tribute to the Oscar, BAFTA and Emmy-winner cinematographer, Vilmos Zsigmond, who passed away at the age of 86 this year, one of his most successful films, The Black Dahlia will be showed. The film screenings will be in Hungarian, but there will be other interesting programs as well in the course of the film week; visitors can admire the
polaroid test shots
of Vilmos Zsigmond, and a
poster ehibition
. Many international festival successes will be on screen again, such as the Oscar-winning Son of Saul, White God and Liza, the Fox-Fairy. The event is held by the Hungarian Film Academy Association with the support of the Hungarian National Film Fund and the Hungarian National Media and Info-communications Authority.
The aim of the
2nd Hungarian Film Week
is to show the audience and the members of the film industry the feature films, television films, documentaries, short feature films and animations of 2015.
