Fans of international flavours have reason to celebrate: Cabrio is launching a new culinary series that brings modern European chefs to Vitkovics Mihály Street, while also taking its own kitchen on tour across the continent.

At the end of January, Cabrio welcomed the team from Vienna's Bistro Fantasy, followed in early February by the chefs of Munich's Gasthaus Waltz, who blend classic Alpine cuisine with a modern twist. Budapest diners were thus introduced to contemporary Viennese and Munich bistro culture - and this is only the beginning.

The series, in fact, is designed to never end- becoming a long-term part of cabrio's identity.

The takeover concept also works in reverse: the Cabrio team takes its kitchen abroad, too. In February, Parisians will get a taste of their cooking, as Albrecht Tomi's dishes temporarily replace classic French bistro fare at the legendary Les Œillets. It's a long-standing professional connection - the Paris team already filled Bar Bizarre back in 2023. Back in the city centre, the bistro will once again welcome guest chefs in spring, with Mallorca's Burgundí arriving in April to bring a fresh buzz to Budapest's terrace season.
