Budapest Coffee Week runs from 22–28 September, welcoming coffee lovers, industry pros – and anyone curious to discover new flavours. For one week, the city’s best cafés, roasters and baristas take centre stage, with special tastings, workshops, limited-edition coffee drinks and unique programmes lined up by the organisers.

The aim of the event is to showcase Budapest’s diverse coffee culture – from artisan roasts at specialty cafés to creative signature drinks. Visitors can peek behind the scenes of coffee-making, learn the basics of sustainable coffee consumption, and meet both Hungarian and international coffee experts.

Don’t forget to bring your “passport”!
At the heart of the event is the Coffee Passport , guiding you through the most exciting venues. This little booklet helps you discover Budapest’s best specialty cafés, where you can collect not only unforgettable coffee experiences but also stamps — which can be exchanged for valuable prizes.
Budapest Coffee Week isn’t only about coffee itself, but about the coffee community too. Expect professional talks, roastery visits and hands-on workshops — all adding up to make this week a true celebration of coffee in the capital.

More than 60 cafés will take part in the event, including favourites like fekete, Madal, Kelet, nor/ma grand and Kontakt.
