Great news for ice cream lovers! Kő fagyi?'s divine scoops are now available right in downtown Budapest, on the corner of Rákóczi tér and Bacsó Béla utca. We've just discovered their new outpost, cleverly named Főfagyi.

You might know Kő fagyi? from Mindszentkálla, the Balaton Uplands, or their popular sister shop that opened on Bartók Béla út on the Buda side five years ago – it always draws a crowd on hot days. While that's a great spot, many of us have been hoping to see them on the Pest side too.

So, we were absolutely delighted when the  Kő fagyi? team recently opened this new branch !

Kő fagyi? takes over Pest

This summer, you can grab their artisan ice cream from the Káli Basin at two locations in Budapest, as Kő fagyi? has finally made it across the Danube to Pest.

The parlour generally sticks to natural flavours, focusing on the classic chocolate, vanilla, and fruit lineup. However, at the Rákóczi tér branch, you'll also find pistachio – a big favourite recently (and they even have a sugar-free and dairy-free option!). Other flavours to try include elderflower, blackberry, rum and fig cream, and punch.

The new ice cream parlour actually used to be an office. Kő fagyi? has cleverly kept some of the old bits and bobs, and even part of the original name for their new spot – hence the name Főfagyi.
