Between 12:30 and 3 pm on the 20th of April 2025, explore the Easter brunch offerings at the InterContinental Budapest! Expect a delightful selection of antipasti, marinated vegetables, and olives, alongside seasonal salads with a variety of dressings. Dishes on offer include asparagus with goat's cheese salad, colourful potato salad, beetroot-cured salmon with celery salad, labneh, smoked duck breast with rhubarb and strawberry ragout, and a truffle-infused duck liver terrine with apricot coulis. Hotel InterContinental will also present its signature cheese board showcasing international and Hungarian specialties.
For those preferring a warm dish on the day, choices include cream of asparagus soup with baked tomato ricotta, oxtail soup with homemade pasta, grilled salmon fillet, braised rabbit, beef fillet medallions with a spring mushroom ragout, rosemary-crusted fried Mangalica cheek, chicken breast stuffed with Serrano ham and mozzarella, slow-cooked duck breast, roasted pork shoulder, or grilled chicken.

The Easter brunch wouldn't be complete without some lovely desserts, featuring Hungarian classics such as the chocolate-filled Somlói sponge cake, Rákóczi túrós, a sweet curd-based delicacy, Dobos cake with its signature burnt caramel glaze, or Eszterházy tart with buttercream, cognac, and vanilla meringue. Options include the Hungarians' delicious chocolate cake, Rigó Jancsi, Aranygaluska (yeast dumplings in vanilla custard), and carrot cake, too.

The Easter menu, featuring springtime and Easter-inspired dishes like asparagus consommé with meat ravioli, saddle of lamb, pink pork tenderloin, and grilled goat's cheese, with carrot tart for dessert, will be available in the restaurant from the 14th to the 20th of April. It's worth a visit after Easter as well, with the terrace opening on the 1st of May, and their fitness & spa and Lebanese afternoon tea also promising a real treat.
