As we reported earlier,Ruben Östlund, the Swedish director behind Triangle of Sadness and The Square, arrived in Budapest back in February. We already knew he was here for a new project: the filming of The Entertainment System Is Down, which is currently underway in Hungary. And it's bringing some serious star power to the city. Keanu Reeves, Kirsten Dunst, Daniel Brühl, and Nicholas Braun are all part of the cast. With filming set to run for 70 days, don't be surprised if you spot an A-lister or two around town before May.
Recently, the online magazine Street Kitchen spotted Keanu Reeves at Casa Mexa, a popular Mexican joint in Budapest, where he even posed for a photo.
Reeves was also recently captured at the Four Season Hotel Gresham Palace.
Daniel Brühl and his ramen
Daniel Brühl, another familiar face from The Entertainment System Is Down, was also spotted out and about in the city. In February, the Spanish-German star popped into 101Neo, a local favourite for Asian bites, where he enjoyed a bowl of ramen – apparently on the tip-off from a French actress friend, according to the restaurant’s Instagram.
