Ruben Östlund, the Cannes-winning director with a knack for sharp social satire, has landed in Budapest to shoot his latest film. The Entertainment System Is Down will be rolling for 70 days, with a star-studded cast featuring Keanu Reeves, Kirsten Dunst, Daniel Brühl, and Nicholas Braun.

Ruben Östlund, the Swedish director behind Triangle of Sadness and The Square, is in Budapest gearing up for his next project. The Entertainment System Is Down will be shot in Hungary, drawing some big names to town. Östlund recently shared a sneak peek of the set on Instagram: a full-scale Boeing 747 in the making.

The Entertainment System Is Down is a dark satire set on a flight where screens and gadgets suddenly stop working, forcing passengers to face boredom and each other.

The Swedish-German-French co-production will star Keanu Reeves, Kirsten Dunst, Daniel Brühl, Samantha Morton, Nicholas Braun, and Tobias Menzies – so keep your eyes peeled when in Budapest! The crew is already busy preparing for the shoot, and we've also learned that Östlund plans to drop by the downtown theatre Belvárosi Színház, to catch the stage adaption of his film Lavina.
