We have just proudly announced that the talented Hungarian set decorator Zsuzsa Mihalek won a BAFTA for her work on Poor Things. And here we are again with even bigger news: in the early hours of March 11th, she and her team Shona Heath and James Price bagged the Oscar for Production Design.
While Mihalek couldn't be present at the ceremony, her colleagues made sure to highlight her contribution in their speeches. Poor Things took home 4 Oscars, and Emma Stone won the 'Actress in a Leading Role' category. See all the winners here.
If you live in the UK or the US, you are lucky enough to stream Poor Things on Disney+. Meanwhile, in Budapest, you can catch the film in cinemas – and spot numerous Hungarian names in the cast list.
